I synthesize data and research for parents on YouTube and TikTok and offer tangible guidance for supporting their kids in building lives that promote a healthy, embodied childhood and adolescence.
I aim to build awareness and digital literacy so that parents can make informed decisions about the apps and products their children may be using, and how to protect them from harm.
I advocate for narrow mental health applications of ai. Broad, generalized ‘everything machines’ are not equipped to support people who are seeking mental health support or are looking to address loneliness. In fact, harm is being done. If we are going to use tech to tackle these very real issues, it needs to be done with care, and currently, it is not.
I do experiential research on alternative ways that young people and adults can find connection in physical space in their communities and share my experience aiming to connect with strangers in a way that feels taboo since the pandemic.
I am part of the AI Mental Health Collective and am striving to consistently share wisdom I gain from the incredible clinicians in this circle.
